Hello fellow sweet tooth fanatics!
My name is Jennifer Mainwaring…(that’s ‘man-a-ring’ by the way). My three biggest passions are pictured at the top of this page, and while they push me to my absolute edge, they are what drive me every single day. (Who can relate!?)
In addition to rooting myself as a mother, I have tapped into my love of creativity and sweets through CAKE! What began as an intermittent hobby, has snowballed into quite the blessing of a growing custom cake business that my whole family has put their joy and passion into.
I grew up in North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University for a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. A few years later, my career was a bit derailed as I spent the next 6 years moving all around the country and building my beautiful family. Although my career in Architecture took a different turn, my love for creating found itself in the kitchen with a few special ingredients and rolling pin. Some people have asked me how I make time with three kids at home, to be honest with you, their joy and spirit is part of what fuels my own.
Three Bears Cakes is rooted completely in the love and joy of this family and my hope is that each cake brings a little bit of that to your home as well.You can be sure that anything you order from our kitchen is made with as much care and excitement as if it was our very own cake.
